When someone buys a ticket, they pay through a secure Stripe payment page. The money goes directly to your account. dingetje.app adds a small service fee of 5% per order (minimum €0.50), paid by the buyer. Stripe also charges their standard transaction fees (approximately 1.5% + €0.25).

After a successful payment, the money usually arrives in your account within 2-7 business days. For new accounts, Stripe may hold the first payout a bit longer (up to 14 days) as an extra security check. After that, it goes faster. You can check the status of your payouts in your Stripe dashboard.

Additionally, Stripe charges transaction fees of approximately 1.5% + €0.25 per payment. Example: For a €10 ticket the buyer pays €10.50 in total (service fee €0.50). You receive €10.00 minus Stripe fees (about €0.40). Free events are always free - no costs, no obligations.

Don't worry! This can have a few causes: 1. The payout is still on its way (2-7 business days) 2. For new accounts, Stripe holds the first payout longer (up to 14 days) 3. Your Stripe account verification isn't complete yet Check your Stripe dashboard for the exact status. Does it say 'Available on [date]'? Then the money will arrive on that date. Yes, you can refund payments through the Stripe dashboard. Log in to dashboard.stripe.com, find the payment and click 'Refund'. Note: Stripe transaction fees are not refunded. The dingetje.app service fee (5%, minimum €0.50) is refunded for full refunds.

Yes! Use the admin link you received when creating. With it you can: • Edit the details • Open/close registrations • View the guest list • Do check-ins for paid events Keep this link safe - it's the only way to manage your event.

Yes! When creating, you can fill in a maximum. Once reached, new guests can no longer register. You can still adjust this later via your admin link.
